The Tennessee Beyond Becomming an Outdoor Woman is holdina a Muzzleloader Workshop and Hunt November 6-8, 2009. The cost of the workshop and hunt is $150 and this includes a muzzleloader to use during the clinic and hunt w/all ammo (if you do not have your own to bring), meals, snacks, and drinks. The private farm that you will be hunting totals over 1000 acres of prime deer habitat. A variety of subjects such as deer habitat and management, ethics, and dutch oven cooking will also be covered.

I attended this hunt in 2007, my first full season, and I enjoyed it tremendously. I was successful at harvesting a buck at this clinic. Actually just about every woman that attended harvested deer. I would highly recommend this hunt to any woman interested in a great hunt, good food and awesome comraderie. There are decent hotels within 5 miles of the hunting headquarters or if you wish, you can campout on the grounds of the hunting headquarter.

For questions, please contact Donald Hosse at 615-781-6541 or email at don.hosse@state.tn.us. Registration is taken on a first-come-first-serve basis but there is a two-week priority period that will be given to first time participants.
